Safety rules, fixed in code

These rules are fixed in code and run on every message to your guide. None of them depends on a plan or an allowance.

You are talking to AI, not a person Open today

Every conversation with the guide opens with that line, and a conversation that goes on shows it again at least every three hours with a reminder to take a break. The planner is AI as well, and so is the researcher to come; every message or mail from them says so.

How a crisis is answered Open today

Every message you write to the guide is read, before anything else, by a fixed list of words and phrases reviewed by people. A second check by a model reads it too when you have agreed to send your messages to the model providers and the day's budget for that check is not spent; it can only add to what the list finds, never remove it, and when it cannot run the list alone decides. If a message reads as a crisis, you see one answer first and at once: call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or text a crisis text line. No model replies to that message. The message is not stored, not shown to your mentor and not read by anyone at Made By Days. If the check itself fails, you see the same answer. If a message reads as distress short of a crisis, the guide answers with one fixed line that names your mentor, a licensed professional and 988, and nothing else.

What is kept Open today

Your account keeps only that a referral was shown and when; it is deleted with your account and never shown to your mentor. A count of referrals with no name, address or account on it is kept for the yearly report that California requires from 1 July 2027.

Made By Days is not medical advice Open today

It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe anything, and it is not an emergency service. Talk to a doctor before you start or change a training program if you have a health condition, have been inactive, or are unsure. Follow your mentor and your doctor over anything Made By Days says.

It is for adults Open today

Accounts are for people 18 and over in the United States. Companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors. A sign that an account belongs to someone under 18 will pause the guide and its team for that account at once, and the terms say what follows.

Not therapy, not counseling Open today

The guide plans a goal with you. It gives no diagnosis, treatment or therapy, holds no licence, and names no condition. Where a goal itself is about mental or behavioural health, the intake does not build it and shows where to go instead.

Your health data Open today

Beyond your account, Made By Days collects no health data until you agree to it, one kind at a time, and asks again if the wording of a consent changes. You can withdraw any consent, download everything in your account, and delete your account and its data. Backups are encrypted and destroyed after 180 days, and a restore from a backup deletes your data again before the service reopens.
